Creamy Chicken and Bacon Pastry Pockets
Ingredients:
- 1 box Puff Pastry (2 sheets)
- 1 8oz Onion and Chive Cream Cheese
- 1/2 C Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 1/2 cup cooked, shredded chicken breast
- 1/3 C crumbled bacon (cooked)
- 3 Tbs chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbs water
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Mix softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, crumbled bacon and chicken.
Cut defrosted pastry sheets into about 16 squares
Put about 2 tsp of cream cheese mixture on each square
With your finger, put a dab of water around the edges of the squares
Fold each square over diagonally to make a triangle
Press edges together and crimp with a fork
Place each pastry on a cookie sheet
Whisk egg and 1 Tbs of water together
Brush the top of each pastry with the egg/water mix
Bake pastries for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
Serve warm or at room temperature
