The Roommate

I've decided I am going to do individual posts about my roommates; starting with Kylie (KY for short). She moved in two weeks after Mikaela and I moved in, and I have to admit I was nervous. One reason is because I get along with guys better than I do with girls so I knew I was going to have to make and effort to make sure I'd get along with this girl. Also I was nervous because she was going to be a hair school student, so I figured she was going to be this super girly valley girl that acted fake. Boy was I wrong Kylie is awesome. She is a great cook and loves to bake as well. She is so nice but honest. She has the funny laugh and shows us the best youtube video, she is social and easy to befriend and I can bring my friends home and not be embarrassed or worried or anything like that. Also I have to admit that being in  hair school is a nice bonus too. She has given me a manicure, facial, scalp treatment, wash and style, eyelash tint, wax, acrylic nails, hair coloring, and a hair trim all for free.... is that not amazing? Well it is, I am blessed, she makes me beautiful. Coming up is pedicure and hair burning :) she can also pierce ears! Although a lot of the time she and I act really silly, we also can have serious and important conversations, and we respect each other and are honest with each other. These are important things to me and I think I was super blessed to get a roommate like her. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. She also got me hooked on the NOM NOM! Haha that's Kylie for ya. I can tell this year will be great!
