Homemade Pizza Bites

I know I have another blog that is food related (http://thesweettoothbooth.blogspot.com), so you're probably wondering why I am making a food post on this blog. Well because that blog is for baking... you know treats and desserts and stuff. But I tried this recipe yesterday and loved it so I want to share it here. They are homemade pizza bites.

Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough (mine was store bought)
  • Pizza toppings that you want (I used Canadian bacon and pineapple)
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil or melted butter (I used olive oil)
  • 1 tsp dried Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Tbs Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • Marinara or Pizza sauce
Directions:
  • Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees
  • Roll your dough out and cut into squares (they suggested 24)
  • Place pizza toppings (but not the marinara/pizza sauce) onto each square

  • Pinch corners of squares together to create a ball

  • Place each ball in a greased round cake pan or pie pan pinched side down.
  • Mix garlic powder, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese together
  • Brush the top of the balls with olive oil/butter sprinkle seasoned mixture on top of pizza bites
  • Place in the oven and cook them for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown

  • Let cool for a few minutes and use the marinara/pizza sauce for dipping!

  • ENJOY
