OORAH!

Today has been a very anticipated/dreaded day. My boyfriend and my best friend both left for the USMC (United Stated Marine Corps) bootcamp. I am so proud of both of them and blessed to have them in my life, and we are blessed to have men like them leave their families to go fight for the freedoms that we enjoy today. They will be gone for 3 months and after they graduate (Oct. 12th) they will have a 10 day break and then they will be gone for another three months doing infantry training. My boyfriend however wants to do Recon, the Marine Special Forces. I know he is capable of doing that so we'll see how that goes. I had chance to spend this last week with these amazing boys and tell them how proud of them I am. Although it will be hard to be apart, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Even though you boys will probably never see this blog post I just want to say that I will be praying every night for you guys and your families. You will be missed but I am proud. OORAH!
