Back to School! and other news...
Back to school! for some people that's a miserable thought and for others it's exciting. For me I was so excited, but now that I've completed my first week of school I'm not so sure excited is the right word. I am only taking 13 credits but oh my gosh it's going to be a super crazy, time consuming and long, hard semester. But I also think that I will learn sooooooo much. In one of my classes I have to do at least 20 hours of work in an agency, and create a portfolio, I have to do a semester long research project with a 25 page paper in another class (I had to get certified to and take a mini course to be able to do research, it's intense). Plus I am taking human anatomy and anatomy lab. TIME CONSUMING! PLUS I am looking for a part time job. But overall I am so glad to be back in Cedar and join the T-Birds again. College football is starting, volleyball has started the dances are starting up again and I am back with friends. And yesterday we had our first Sweet Sunday of the school year. Kassidy made brownies, and Brooke made some banana bars (a huge hit) and I made pink lemonade cupcakes which were super cute (see picture below) but apparently the frosting was too sweet, which after I tasted them I have to agree. On another note some recent changes have also taken place in the last few weeks, first I went to Lake Powell for the first time ever the weekend before school started and I had a blast. Also last week I found out my parent's are NOT moving out of the country anymore. But back to New York City is a possibility. Sometimes bad news can bring good news! When one door closes the another door opens, hard to believe sometimes, but it's true.

Summer Change
A lot has changed for me this summer. The biggest change is that my parents are moving, they moved in 2009 to New York, and that was great, especially since I had the opportunity to go with them. But this time I am not going with them, they are moving to Saudi Arabia and I am going to Southern Utah University... which leads me to the other change, I thought i had this school year all figured out, my roommates, my classes my friends etc. But I found out that what I thought was going to happen actually isn't. I found out that one of my roommates is in fact not rooming with me this year. I was so sad because we had a blast last year, But we will still live close by so although a change has been made, it doesn't mean its a bad change. Another thing that has changed for me this summer is that I FINALLY GOT MY CAR! I've been waiting so long for it and this weekend my dad surprised me and bought it for me! This summer has been crazy with me trying to figure how I am going to survive with my parents being so far away and me becoming about 70% more responsible than I've ever been, but you know... I'm up for that challenge!
